Non-expiring API token

#1

I’ve been playing around with Staxx a bit and it looks very promising.
My idea was to use Staxx as an automatic feed for my firewall to create specific rules (to block outgoing requests to very-high risk URLs, for example).

I have created a specific user for the sole purpose of doing API calls and retrieve specific data.
Unfortunately, after a short time period, I’m seeing “Authentication failed: no token or token expired”.
I’d rather not have to authenticate using username and password to retrieve a token each and every time I want a script to run.

My feature request is the ability to create a permanent API token for any user. The user or admin can choose to remove/change the API token from the interface at any time.

Any update on this? This is a tremendous inconvenience and doesn’t have a security benefit.
